Tonaquint appoints Jim Buie as new CEO amid expansion

Tonaquint has appointed Jim Buie as its new Chief Executive Officer.

Tonaquint, a data centre provider focused on emerging markets, has announced the appointment of Jim Buie as its CEO effective immediately. With over two decades of experience in the digital infrastructure and technology sector, Buie has previously held leadership positions at companies such as Ark Data Centers, Flexential, Comcast, and AT&T.

Kanan Joshi, Partner, Co-Head North America and Head of Digital Infrastructure at CVC DIF and a board member at Tonaquint, stated, "Jim Buie is an invaluable addition to the Tonaquint executive team. The appointment comes at a time when Tonaquint is expanding its operations to cater to the growing demand for scalable and efficient colocation solutions. Buie holds a bachelor's degree in finance and accounting from Florida State University and an MBA from the University of Colorado. His leadership in the industry has been recognised through numerous awards, including Titan of Industry and Top 100 CEO recognitions.
