Equinix appoints Cyrus Adaggra as President for APAC

Equinix has appointed Cyrus Adaggra as its new President for the Asia-Pacific region.

Cyrus Adaggra, who has been with the company for four years, will be responsible for overseeing the management, strategy, and growth plan for Equinix in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. This appointment aims to address the demands of customers and partners amidst a rapidly evolving technological environment.

In his new role, Cyrus will be based in Sydney, Australia, and will report directly to Chief Business Officer Jon Lin. His responsibilities will include executing the regional strategy that aligns with Equinix's customer vision while navigating the unique challenges and opportunities of the APAC market. The focus will be on digital technology, data centres, and interconnections, which are vital to the future of global economies.

Cyrus joined Equinix in 2021 as Vice President, Corporate Development and Strategy for Asia-Pacific. He brought over 20 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), financial strategy, strategy consulting, and corporate development to the company. In his previous role, Cyrus was instrumental in driving Equinix's growth strategy, focusing on expanding the company's presence in both existing and new markets within the Asia-Pacific region. His efforts included leading market entries into Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Thailand, as well as fostering organic growth in established markets.
